In celebration of Black History Month, Hillsborough County Public Schools is proud to celebrate this year's LEAD Student Contest Winners!

LEAD stands for Learn, Empower, Advocate and Dream. Leaders impact us in so many ways and we encounter them in our every day lives. The LEAD contest challenges students to create an artistic interpretation expressing how he or she has been inspired by a local black leader. There were over 347 creative and artistic submissions, but in this program the winners of this competition will be showcased and celebrated!

The students being honored are:

  • Evelyn Saladino

  • Elena Grant
  • Chandler Jacobs
  • Christian White
  • Brianna Allen-Quinn
  • Miles Kemp
  • Gustavo Carvacho
