"STEAM Ahead!" takes you inside the "Math Alive!" traveling exhibit that is currently at the Glazer Children's Museum!

Because of a partnership with Raytheon and the Glazer Children’s Museum, the Math Alive! exhibit comes to Tampa. In this episode of STEAM Ahead, you get to experience this amazing exhibitory and also hear from NASA Astronaut, Robert Curbeam who has done three missions to space, as he explains why math is so important for the future of the kids. The children of Hillsborough County Public Schools also got to participate in a Facebook Live broadcast put together by the staff of the museum and learn firsthand how Mr. Curbeam used math in his daily life to prepare for his space missions. This was such a valuable experience for everyone involved and although the exhibit ends July 9th, 2017, kids can learn STEAM through the other exhibits at the museum all throughout the year.
