Tampa's African Ameican History

Through partnership with the NAACP Hillsborough County Branch, we are proud to announce our new original program “Through My Eyes: Tampa’s African American History” hosted by Amandia Reese Craig. Each episode features a personal journey that has contributed to conversations about black representation, equity, identity, and diversity in Tampa Bay.

The Tampa Bay Arts & Education Network was awarded Bronze Tellys in 2020 and 2021 for previous programs produced from this partnership.

This program is made possible by the City of Tampa, Florida and the Florida State Department of Cultural Affairs.
