Tampa Bay Arts & Education Network (TBAE) is looking for 2 students for an internship at our television station. Interning in high school can be a fantastic way to get hands-on, real world experience before heading off to college.

internsThe 6 week program (50 hours) will have training in Video Editing, Graphic Design, and being a Production Assistant.  Students will work on established, award-winning TBAE original programs such as the Florida Aquarium’s Evening Tide Talks, STEAM Ahead! and Innovators in Science as well as new program initiatives developed by TBAE in the future.

If accepted, orientation will be held on Wednesday, November 29th from 4:30-6:30pm. This internship will begin on December 4th, 2017. The hours will be flexible with your school schedule; however, it is required that you complete 50 hours during the internship, with the first 2 hours being the orientation. 

The internship will be the following weeks:

December 4th - December 8th:  Production Assistants on Steam Ahead!

December 11th- December 15th: Video Editing and Graphic Design

January 8th - January 12th: Video Editing and Graphic Design

January 15th - January 19th: Video Editing and Graphic Design

January 22nd - January 26th: Video Editing and Graphic Design

January 29th - February 2nd: Video Editing and Graphic Design

** Production may also take place during the course of the internship and interns will be notified in advance. A black shirt will be required during productions.**
